The Möll rises at the Großglockner and flows about 80 km later at Lurnfeld in the Drau. For whitewater lovers the Möll is a very popular destination. Möll, Drau and Isel are ideal for our courses.
This week you can enjoy the wonderful scenery and learn to maneuver your Packraft sovereign through the rapids.
You will learn important paddling techniques, become familiar with your material and learn to read water.
We will train the safe wet exit and how to crawl back into the boat and the right technique for going in and out of an eddy.
The Möllvalley is very conveniently located to also be able to navigate other rivers such the Drau and Isel.
The Drau flows trough the town Lienz and rises in the Italian Dolomites in c.a. 1200 m altitude. The Drau is a nature enjoyment for all ages. From the source the Drau leads over 749 kilometers to romantic places of longing, swimming lakes and impressive mountains. The river offers more than 110 km of paddling pleasure between Lienz and Ferlach. The unique vegetation and the
foresight enrich the adventure.
The Isel - a unique glacier river
No other glacier-fed river in the Alps has preserved its peculiarity and beauty like the Isel. It is not only the largest glacier river in the Alps without dams and diversion. It covers an altitude of 1,730 meters from the source to the estuary 57.26 km in length.

Course content
On the first day of the course we meet at the campsite". After a welcome round, we get acquainted with the equipment and its handling in calm water. We will train the wet exit and re-enter the Packraft.
The teaching content of the week is the basics of packrafting and the correct paddling techniques, such as the right technique to go in and out of an eddy and ferry techniques. Learned is practiced and increased. According to the guide line from the easy to the difficult, from the known to the unknown.
A very important part of our teaching is the instruction in risk management. Therefore, each of our five-day courses includes a safety day. It is about hazard identification, assessment and avoidance. Swimming techniques in whitewater, the proper handling of a throw bag, the personal responsibility of each paddler and the right equipment. All course content in these training sessions based on current international standards and our many years of whitewater experience.
In addition to the practice on the river, our courses also include small theory units in which we deal with hydrology, the teaching of water, its types, properties and manifestations.
Once in the five days, we go for dinner together.
We deliberately want to leave the accommodation type to our participants because it is very important to us that participants do not deny their self-determination. We set up our camp on the ideal campsite near the Raggacanyon.
Our courses do not focus on accompanied hiking. We focus on giving you our knowledge on and around the river to prepare you with a clear conscience as a responsible packrafter on your own adventures.
